Snowplow Sam Level 2 focuses on marching followed by longer glides, dips while moving, forward swizzles, backward walking, backward wiggles, beginner stops in motion and more. Kids learn in a fun and positive group environemnt led by dedicated professional coaches who use games to teach the proper skills.

Snowplow Sam Level 3 focuses on teaching young skaters forward skating with strides for stroking, forward on-foot long glides for balance, forward and backward swizzles and moving snowplow stops. Skaters may also progress into starting edge curves for future use.

In the last level of Snowplow Sam, skaters ages 3-5 years are now ready to focus on continuous forward skating, backward two-foot glides, backward swizzles, rocking horse, two-foot turns from standing, two-foot hops in place. This class will transition skaters into Basic Skill levels 1-6 to continue their on-ice skating progression.

Players learn hockey skill building to get ready for league level play in a fun and positive learning environment.
The Cyclones Hockey Development Program is perfect for players who aren't quite ready for travel-level league play. This development program introduces young athletes to hockey's fundamental skills. With a focus on fun and positivity, our curriculum features skill-intensive drills customized to each player's level. On Saturdays, players are divided into small age/skill-appropriate group sessions led by dedicated coaches, where they'll work on developing game-level experience and preparing for the Cyclones travel program.

This program develops all the skills learned in Cyclones Hockey Tots and prepares beginner hockey players to join Sky Rink's Cyclones Hockey Development Program.
